Located in a small quiet village of the north-east Crete, surrounded by a splendid landscape, this stunning villa available for rent. It is a unique property, which is a true landmark of the area. Constructed before 1900, this stone built compound used to be a Venetian olive press factory and has been later carefully restored and modernly equipped. At the same time, the architecture perfectly tunes with the surroundings, offering privacy and seclusion. Right next to the villa, there is a lovely tavern, while other amenities could be found in Rethymno – a vibrant town with great choice of entertainment and shopping (16 km away).
Villa comprises of a mainhouse and a studio, comfortably accommodating up to 11 guests in total. Ideally suits both small or bigger groups and even two families travelling together.
The Main house has two levels with the ground floor consisting of 2 sitting areas with built in sofas (good for 5 and 10 guests accordingly), 2 dining areas and a big kitchen, which has full set of crockery, utensils and modern appliances for self-cooking. Same floor has 1 separate WC.
In the first floor, there are 2 bedrooms – master double bedroom and a guest room with twin beds. Both have ample wardrobes for storage and a private bathroom equipped with shower. Rooms access a large terrace. Two more guests can sleep on the sofa beds.
The studio is accessible from the main house through the indoor pool area but has also its own entrance. Here you can find a kitchenette with dining set, a living room area with two sofabeds, fireplace and a terrace. In addition, there is 1 twin bedroom, a terrace and a loft with an extra single bed and 1 bathroom. This studio can be used as a self-contained unit if few families travel together and would like to get some privacy.
For guests’ entertainment, there is satellite TV, DVD player and WIFI internet provided throughout the house. Laundry room is also equipped with all necessary appliances. The multilevel outdoor area has private swimming pool with wooden deck around. Sunbeds provided, swimming pool can be heated upon request. Moreover, there is barbeque equipment at guests’ service, together with access to small patios and terraces, perfect for alfresco dining enjoying perfect weather and sun.
